THE BRILLIANT EVOLUTION OF DIAMONDS FREAKIN JAMMED

THE BRILLIANT EVOLUTION
OF DIAMONDS
WAS SOOOOO
BRILLIANT & MAGICAL!

THANK YOU
AMERICAN DIAMOND WORKS!
YALL ARE JAMMIN

Where did we start?
Where did diamonds come from? How long ago? How do we get them? How strong are they? How do we cut them?
How did they get to be SO brilliant!?

Which are real, which are not? What shape is this? What color is this?

Hello raw diamonds, nice to meet you . . . now we're jammin.

"Dear cubed brown diamond,
I love you & I am having so much fun
learning about you tonight."

Teresa listens as Joseph explains how to mark the diamond he is going to work on.

You glued it on there?

Let's start this machine . . . I know it by name.

Ah . . . to have friends in the business and
to have such a memorable history with them.
The power of knowledge & experience.

for sharing such lovely
moments of magic with us!

Olive oil & diamond dust please. Yup - that's how we JAM.
We work with that mixture, and . . .

these tools . . .

and this cast iron machine . .

with this yellow diamond that was cut for the first time 200 years ago . . .

and then look at it in this loop to see the newest facets we just made so we can bring out the yellow more brilliant than they knew how to do 200 years ago.

This is not easy, but yall are definitely JAMMIN.

Thanks again for letting us be part of what you have goin on over at American Diamond Works. Mickey (40 years in the business) , Maarten, Ty & Joseph - great hearts, great guys, and the only diamond cutters in the state of Arizona.

(Maarten, Ty, Mickey & Joseph . . . Leon too)
